Moving out of a home—especially a home that has been lived in for a long time—is difficult. Whether you are upgrading to a new home, moving into a smaller home, helping a loved one move into assisted living, or emptying the house after a loved one has passed away, Charitities of Hope, Inc. Estate Pick-Up program can help.
We'll Clean Up for you!
After all your precious items have been relocated, many more things may still be left without a place to go. Charities of Hope, Inc. invites you to consider donating those items and provides the Estate Pick-Up service to make donating easier during a difficult time.

How It Works
Simply call the Charities of Hope main office at (860) 424-0093 to speak to Lizbeth or you can schedule here and/or fax to our main office at 860-560-7365.
Then you can schedule a time where a representative will visit the residence to determine the best way to pick-up your donation.
After the evaluation, you and the Charities of Hope representative will arrange a convenient date and pick-up time. We will send a truck and attendants to accept your donation.
The Estate Pick-Up Program is available only during the following circumstances:
- A senior downsizing into a smaller home or moving in with a family member or caregiver
- A person moving to a retirement facility, nursing home, or assisted living facility or a new home
- Replacing gently used furniture or appliances
- The passing of a loved one
- After an estate sale or in place of one.
If your circumstances do not meet any of the following criteria, you can take donations to our Donation Center located at 770 Wethersfield Avenue, Hartford, CT please contact for donation times.
